Sunday I passed out the verses from Jesus and Paul that provide great counsel on what to do instead of worrying. We did not have time to fill in the blanks, here are the Biblical tips on not worrying from the blanks we did not fill in. Hopefully you were not worrying about getting them filled in. The passages were Matthew 6:25-34 and Philippians 4:6,7: here they are.
* Focus on what really matters
* Seek God first, and then everything else will be taken care of.
* Focus on today, not tomorrow.
* Trust that God will provide what you need.
* Believe that you are very important to God.
* Don't hold too tightly to things.
* Pray about everything.
* Ask God to help with your problems.
* Maintain a sense of thankfulness and peace in your heart.
Do you have any additional thoughts? Feel free to share and let's lift each other up to God this week.

What do we worry about?
This Sunday the 8th we will be covering a lesson from 1 Samuel that points to the problems that come about when we worry. I really think this is a common problem for us. I am looking for some help in beginning this discussion. I thought it would be helpful to know from everyone what causes you to worry.
So - What do you worry about?
Please feel welcome to be specific or general, but most of all honest.
I really think this will help our discussion on Sunday and then help us find help from God's Word about this thing that so effects our every day lives.
